This is a great example of one of the best value guitars you can buy. The SE line was introduced to offer PRS instruments and build philosophy to customers at a more affordable price point than the US made guitars. This guitar was made in Korea in 2007 and has been well looked after since purchase.
It offers the classic combination of building materials that produce great sounding rock guitars. It has a mahogany body with flame maple top, a set neck with double humbucking pickups. Inspired by another famous North American guitar builder? Hmmm. It’s a combination that gives great results and looks fantastic.
It sounds nice and big plugged in and has plenty of acoustic volume.
New these instruments currently retail for £549 with a few refinements over this original model. This one has been played in, looks great and comes fully set-up and serviced.
It weighs in at only 3.1KG on bathroom scales.
It has had a recent pro set-up by local luthier Julian Mullen where he serviced the whole instrument, touched in some dings and set it up in standard tuning with 10-46 gauge strings. This was a £50 job and has left the instrument in perfect playing and sounding order
We can supply a detailed information sheet via PDF including some hi res photos of the instrument. This will be added to this auction shortly.
I can consider part exchanges for Fender, Gibson, quality branded guitars etc. No silly offers please!
